Pneumatic transport

The principle of pneumatic conveying is to add product to the air mixture flow. In order to ensure a stable continuous flow of the air mixture, pneumatic conveying for bulk materials uses blowers.

Efficiency and automation

The pneumatic transport system of this line is organized in such a way that it allows for one of three selected operations to be performed automatically:

  • Transferring flour from the bag opener to the silo.

  • Transferring flour from the bag opener to the dosing unit.

  • Transferring flour from the silo to the dosing unit.

Pneumatic conveying line

Air is supplied to the pneumatic line by a turbo compressor. It is then directed either through the red line or the yellow line, depending on which of the two ball valves is open.

When the ball valve on the yellow line is opened, air is directed through the rotary feeder, which doses the flour from the bag opener into the pneumatic line.

Possibility of transporting non-food bulk materials
Pneumatic conveying is also widely used in the non-food industry to move a variety of dry products such as cement, sand, lime, polymer granules, wood chips and metal powders.

Pneumatic conveying consists of pipelines, compressors, filters, loading and unloading devices. Compressors create a flow of air that transports bulk products through the pipework, ensuring a fast and uniform supply of raw materials to the production lines. To access the screw shaft, simply remove the bearing assembly, which is attached to the housing with hinged bolts.

Gravity flow transport

In some cases, when it is possible to position one piece of equipment below another in the production line, it is advisable to transport the product by gravity flow.

We manufacture the following gravity conveying components:
